What do we have here?
An incredibly rare example of the IWC Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar Chronograph ref. 8153-07, featuring a 39mm 18k yellow gold case adorned with factory-set diamonds on both the bezel and the iconic bar lugs. The original pave diamond dial is complemented nicely by 12 ruby hour markers and 4 white subdials to provide contrast. This watch is not all about the diamonds, it is also a very complicated piece of IWC history. This is a perpetual calendar chronograph with a moonphase complication at 12 o’clock. It has been set properly and is ready to be enjoyed for many years.
This Da Vinci is in excellent condition, showing very minimal signs of wear. It is accompanied by an IWC Certificate of Authenticity that was issued in 2024 and confirms an original delivery date of 04/22/1992.
