2010 Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Number Two 270.6.48

What do we have here?
A great example of a rare and limited Jaeger-Lecoultre Reverso Tourbillon, ref. 270.6.48 aka “Number Two”, featuring a ‘Grand Taille’ 42 x 26mm platinum case fitted to a dark blue JLC leather strap and white gold JLC deployant. The Reverso Tourbillon “Number Two” was limited to only 500 pieces and was the second Reverso Tourbillon model from JLC. This Reverso draws design inspirations from JLC’s first pocketwatch tourbillon back in 1946. 


The gray dial is complemented nicely by painted silver Arabic numerals, blued hands, a co-axial power reserve indicator, a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock with a guilloche pattern and the subtle “Tourbillon” text to hint at what’s on the other side. Flipping the Reverso over, you are greeted by the free sprung tourbillon with Breguet overcoil which is complimented nicely by 18k white gold plates, blued screws, hand chamfering, mirror polished bridges, and a Côtes du Soleil striping pattern. This radial pattern reflects light beautifully and draws your attention to the tourbillon.


This Reverso Tourbillon is in excellent, unpolished condition. It comes as a full set with inner and outer boxes, warranty papers (undated/not-filled), copy of original/dated purchase receipt (Richemont employee purchase), booklets, certificate of origin and loupe.  Contact us for more info, photos, or to make this watch yours!
