A great example of a Vacheron Constantin Historiques Triple Calendar ref. 3110V, the “1942”, featuring a 40mm stainless steel case fitted to a VC leather strap and original stainless steel VC buckle. The silver dial is complemented nicely by blued hour, minute and seconds hands, a striking red tipped pointer date hand and small seconds at 6 o’clock. This watch features a triple calendar complication displaying the date along the outer edge of the dial as well as apertures for the day of the week and month centered below 12 o'clock. Lastly, this specific 1942 Triple Calendar features the more rare red text configuration where the date, day and month are all in a bold red text.
