What do we have here?

A rare and great example of a Gerald Genta skeletonized perpetual calendar, ref. G1969, featuring a 34mm 18k yellow gold case fitted to a generic black leather strap and 18k yellow gold Gerald Genta pin buckle. The fully hand skeletonized dial is complemented nicely by gold perpetual calendar subdials, a lapis lazuli moonphase display, thermal blued outer frame, Genta’s iconic octagonal case shape, and center style lugs. This watch features a perpetual calendar complication featuring an Italian calendar displaying the month, date, and day of the week with leap years and varying number of days in each month accounted for.
