Jaeger Le-Coultre Duometre Quantieme Lunaire Q6042521 40.5mm

What do we have here?

A great example of a JLC Duometre Quantieme Lunaire ref. Q6042521 with a 40.5mm rose gold case and a like-new JLC strap fitted to a matching JLC rose gold tang buckle. This Duometre features a silvered grey dial and is the definition of "business in the front, party in the back"

This watch features multiple complications thanks to JLC's Calibre 381. The Dual Wing architecture allows for timekeeping independent of the moonphase and date functions. One of my favorite complications featured here, and one you don't see often, is the foudroyante subdial (French for "striking like lightning") which displays 1/6 of a second. The moonphase, date, small seconds and twin power reserves (one for each barrel) make for a gorgeous dial layout but that's just the beginning - take a look at that exhibition caseback.
