Rolex Datejust 1603 "Wide Boy" 36mm (1.9M serial - 1969)

What do we have here?

A great example of a Rolex Datejust ref. 1603 with what is referred to as the “Wide Boy” dial, featuring a 36mm stainless steel case fitted to what appears to be its original Rolex stainless steel folded-link Jubilee bracelet & clasp (stamped 4/68). The silver dial is complemented nicely by luminous applied hour markers that are approximately twice the width of standard hour markers (hence the “Wide Boy” nickname), an engine-turned steel bezel, and a Cyclops date window at 3 o'clock.
