Vulcain Cricket "Polerouter" 303010 35mm

What do we have here?

A great example of a vintage Vulcain Cricket, ref. 303010, featuring a 35mm stainless steel case fitted to a generic black leather strap and stainless steel buckle. The silver dial is complemented nicely by dauphine style hour and minute hands, a central pointer hand for the alarm, and an engine-turned steel inner bezel. This rare dial and inner bezel configuration draws is reminiscent of Gerald Genta’s famous Universal Geneve Polerouter. This watch also features a pusher above the crown used to disengage and set the alarm. The Vulcain Cricket has special historical significance as it’s widely considered the first mechanical alarm wristwatch.
